Can’t believe I turn 21 in 4 hours. I remember being 16 and feeling like this moment was so far away and here it is. It feels pretty cool but it’s scary too… I don’t know if I like the growing up aspect of it. But I am so excited for my party tomorrow night and going out Saturday!! Ahhhh!!!

Shoshin is a concept in Zen Buddhism meaning “beginner’s mind”. It refers to having an attitude of openness, eagerness, and lack of preconceptions when studying a subject, even when studying at an advanced level, just as a beginner in that subject would.

Forcing myself to finish this assignment so I can smoke and take a bubble bath :)
